You’re Invited – Campaign Launch in Montgomery

We are excited to officially launch Dr. Stewart Tankersley’s campaign for Lieutenant Governor of Alabama and invite you to join us for this important moment.

Dr. Tankersley qualified to run for Lieutenant Governor in January, and with Election Day set for May 19th, we are now kicking off the campaign across the state.

On Monday, March 30th, Dr. Tankersley will officially launch his campaign with a prayer breakfast in Montgomery, bringing together friends, supporters, and community leaders from across Alabama. This event marks the beginning of a campaign focused on service, accountability, and making Alabama more affordable for working families.

The morning will begin with a buffet breakfast at 7:00 AM, followed by remarks from Dr. Tankersley outlining his vision for Alabama’s future and the principles that will guide his campaign.

About Dr. Stewart Tankersley

Dr. Stewart Tankersley is a Montgomery-based family physician, Army veteran, and former member of the Alabama Ethics Commission. A fourth-generation physician, he has spent decades caring for Alabama families and serving his community as Montgomery County Health Officer and President of the Montgomery County Medical Society. He served more than 30 years in the Alabama Army National Guard, rising from an enlisted Cavalry Scout to the rank of Colonel, with three deployments in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom and New Dawn. Dr. Tankersley is running for Lieutenant Governor to bring steady, common-sense leadership focused on making Alabama more affordable and restoring accountability in state government.
